Hey, I have a question....You know, it is said that the "shelf life", or "expiration date" on most medicines, is really much longer than what is printed on the bottle...

My question is....How long would you consider it still "ok", to use some..."hardcore bodybuilding supplements"? Is it ok to ask such questions here? Would it be ok to use, even after 2 years or so, if properly stored?

I would like y'all's opinions.

Of course we only talk about legal supplements on this board .

2 years ... I wouldn't try . I've never had to decide that but I think I wouldn't exceed 6 months after the date and only sure of a good storage...

Hey guys, are American bodybuilding supplements easily available over there? Are prices similar? (legal stuff of course).

It's why I buy some sup on 1fast400.com or bodybuilding.com
But we buy proteins in Europe because they are heavy packaging

I am surprised...I figured by now, everyone would have same access.

Actually, a few years ago, I was selling bodybuilding supplements through the internet...(prohormones, etc., which were still legal then..). I even had an Italian guy in Rome, Italy, who was wanting me to help him find cheap American supplements.

In the French gyms.....do they not sell supplements there? I'm just curious.

Of course you can find in France the same supplements you can find in other countries . Most of the gyms sell supplements too . The price are quite the same as in the usa. But our fda rules are different and there are products you can find in drugstores like "rite aid" or "walgreen" that you couldn't get in france. Here you would have to go to a pharmacy. For exemple it's impossible to find SAMe in France . Also, when we find cheaper supplements from the usa on the internet we have custom taxes to pay and when we receive them , it's the same price as we can find here ...

I would just like that when we have a new question we try to respect the different areas on the board without deviating from the original topic. It will be then easier for the newcomers to take part in a discussion they like.
